The next course starts on 23rd September, 2014.
At the heart of Destiny College is the desire to train this generation of Christian leadership. While Destiny College has been accurately called both a Bible College and a Discipleship Training School, the best description is Christian Leadership Academy. We believe with Bill Hybels that, “The local church is the hope of the world, and its future rests primarily in the hands of its leaders.” In order to effectively fulfil the Great Commission, the church both globally and locally must unite behind the vision and direction of God-appointed leadership. We aim to take men and women who are hungry for more of God – and to see His Kingdom come on Earth – and equip them to carry significant weight in the local church. The biblical principles covered on our full time Certificate in Christian Leadership course are equally applicable by those called to work as Pastors and others who will serve under them by leading small groups and ministry teams.
For nine months of each year students gather in Glasgow from right across Scotland, the UK and Europe – and even further afield – to receive teaching and practical training that will enable them to serve effectively in Christian leadership wherever God eventually takes them. Covering a wide variety of topics – from the deeply theological to the thoroughly practical – every element of the Certificate in Christian Leadership course is designed to contribute to a comprehensive training for aspiring, as well as seasoned, Christian leaders. Whether you hope to serve in full time ministry or support those who do - while excelling in your own workplace, the principles and skills of Christian Leadership taught at Destiny College will truly lay a solid foundation for the rest of your life.
Why not consider taking nine months this year to receive input of the highest quality that will invest in your future as well as that of countless others who could be touched by your life? Come and learn, as we are fond of saying at Destiny College, how “Leaders make things happen – with others!”
