There was a good balance between practical work and theoretical teaching from both in house and guest lecturers. Learning different approaches to counselling gave me a broad understanding but the practical side of the course also enabled me to find out what approaches I worked best with. Personally, I changed, grew and learned so much about myself in my time on the course.
