Application process

Before you start your online application please familiarise yourself with the application process and the information you require in order to apply.

There are a few steps involved including paying the non-refundable registration fee of £45 and providing 2 references: one pastoral reference (if you apply for a Bible course) or one Professional reference (if you apply for a Counselling course) and one character reference. The character reference can be a friend (not relative) who has known you for at least 2 years. You can download the references, send them to your referees to fill them in and then have them ready to upload when you start the application process.

Downloadable reference forms here:

HND Counselling »

Here is a summary of the steps required to submit your application:

Step 1: Download the relevant reference and send it to your referee to fill it. Ask your referee for email and contact number so you have them available when you fill in the application form online. Once you received the references back you can start the online application.

Step 2: Fill in the relevant course online application form

Step 3: Upload the two references required.

Step 3: Pay the non-refundable £45 registration fee

We will assess your application and check that you meet the entry requirements for the course.
We may ask you for an individual interview or to attend an assessment centre.

Application outcomes are based upon careful consideration, in line with the entry requirements, of interview performance, assessment centre performance, qualifications and/or relevant experience for each applicant.

Once an offer is received, you must reply within 10 working days or risk losing your place.

Once you have accepted your offer, you will be sent details of the enrolment week and what documents you need to bring with you when attending enrolment.

Please note that the delay between acknowledgement of your application and the outcome may vary from a couple of weeks to several weeks, depending on the volume of applications received and course-specific administration processes.

It is important that you check your emails for updates – remember to check your spam and junk folders too.
